Health To Sing About
Let me support your wellness journey to a healthier and happier you using realistic goals, practical skills, and personalised nutrition.

Why 'Health to sing about'?
As a professional singer, I am a “canary in a coal mine”, potentially aware of certain environmental or dietary issues before many non-singers. If I am not healthy, my voice is often affected. I need optimal health to perform at optimal level. This has led me to a passion for nutritional therapy and a holistic approach to health.

My patient-centred focus examines the interactions of environment, nutrition and lifestyle factors (such as stress, diet and exercise) and their influence on health and illness. This involves critically analyzing and applying the latest nutritional scientific research to your individual needs (Please click here to see the BANT video in for more information on Nutritional Therapy).

I am passionate about healthy eating that is both practical and tasty!
I am also a keen amateur gardener with several top gardening awards from Hammersmith and Fulham in London, and try to practice what I preach by growing herbs, fruit and vegetables among the flowers.

My 30 year career as a singer has led me to develop a special interest in vocal health issues and the challenge of an appropriate diet ‘on the road’ for touring musicians. My work as a performer in the entertainment industry has included advertising, television and film work, live musical performances in various venues such as small clubs, large theatres and music festivals as well as vocal coaching. I am keenly aware that many health issues can affect the voice and poor vocal health may sometimes distract the singer from other potential chronic health problems.

I have supported persons managing chronic conditions such as adrenal issues, allergies, arthritis, alopecia, depression, dermatitis, IBS, insulin resistance, migraine, PCOS, thyroid disease, ulcerative colitis and weight issues by recognising their biochemical individuality with the aim of addressing imbalances and optimising nutritional health and vitality.
